My reaction to the book is amazement of how unfairly they treat the citizens, and how they make two children fight to death for food. There are a lot of mean people and the richer people do not seem to care much for the less fortunate in the districts.
When I started reading The Hunger Games, I did not want to put it down. I like how excitement is built up as we find out more about Panem's ufriendly relationship with the Capitol. The treatment of people is shocking, which is one of the aspects that makes the book interesting.
I love this book! The characters are well-developed, and the concept is so interesting and novel. The suspense and plot twists seen in just the first few chapters make this book a great read, interesting from the first page!
This book has lots of feelings in it which makes it such a good book. There is hate for the capital, love for her family, her want for hunting, the need for surviving, and eagerness for a revolt against the capital. All of these make this one of the best books written!
The way the characters are described in this story really makes them come to life. They are realistic portrayals of someone you could meet in real life. For is reason, when one person feels strong emotion, the reader kind of feels that too. You can really connect with the characters on an emotional level, and when a reader feels toward characters like that, that author has certainly done a great job!
