I would like to discuss the following question: Do you all think that the rebellion of district 13 really happened? Or could it possibly be a story made up by the Capitol, to have an excuse for having the games?
In response to Ana's question: Yes, I do believe the rebellion happened. Otherwise the games would not be in existence, as they are the Capital's form of revenge on the districts for rebelling. The Games weren't just created because the Capitol is saddistic, it is revenge for a rebellion that caused mass destruction and could have destroyed Panem.
